Lenovo announced it’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Z series’ Lenovo Z5s in China. The highlights of the phone are a glass back with metal frame, P2i splash-resistant coating, a 6.39-inch FHD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio display, Snapdragon 710 chipset with up to 6GB RAM, Android 9.0 Pie, and triple rear cameras.
Lenovo Z5s Specifications
The Lenovo Z5s sports a 6.39-inch Full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with 92.6% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with P2i splash-resistant coating from accidental water spill protection. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie with ZUI 10 on top.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 10nm processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It is paired with 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
The smartphone sports triple rear camera set up. It has a 16MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, Dual-tone LED flash, an 8MP secondary telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture for 2x zoom and a 5MP camera with a f/2.4 aperture for capturing depth in portrait shots. It sports a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It sports hybrid dual SIM and micro SD slots. Other connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It also features 3.5mm audio jack and Dirac audio sound. The device is powered by a 3300mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The Lenovo Z5s is priced at 1398 yuan ($200 approx.) for the 4GB/64GB version. The 6GB/64GB version is priced at 1598 yuan ($230 approx.). Lastly, the top-end 6GB/128GB version is priced at 1898 yuan ($275 approx.). The Z5s will go on sale from December 24 in China.
