Revolutionary electric car maker Tesla officially opens store in Middle East located at Shaikh Zayed Road near Dubai Mall next to Metro Station under the same rules it has applied elsewhere.
This facility is not showroom but store and being managed directly by Tesla not through any local dealer.
Any one who wants to buy a model, they can order it via official website, store would also provide after-sales facility.
Tesla already have one store in Jordan and many people already have seen Tesla in UAE. As of now Model S price starts from AED 281,350 (~ USD 78,590) and Model X price starts from AED 332,500 (~USD 92,877) are available in-store and for booking.
Since delivering its first vehicle in 2008, Tesla has sold around 170,000 cars, a relatively small slice of the electric vehicle market, which itself is also still developing.
The five seater Model 3 has a range of around 350 miles on a single charge, depending on conditions, but making it a practical proposition for return journeys between Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai.
Buyers in UAE have to wait for the brand new Model 3, the brand’s entry level vehicle that will be rolling out of the US plant later this month, deliveries to their UAE buyers are expected only by mid-2018.
However, bookings are open, and it requires a down payment of Dh4,000. total price will be around AED 128,000 (~USD35,755)
