Cubot Nova a bezel-less beauty that has been launched quietly by the OEM on its website. The Nova smartphone is an affordable smartphone that packs 3GB RAM and runs on the latest operating system Android 8.1 Oreo.
Cubot is really enjoying making these bezel-less beauties. But it seems the Cubot Nova is the cheapest of the clan. The bezel-less display the Cubot Nova exudes is absolutely noteworthy. Without further ado, meet the Cubot Nova.
Definitely one of the few budget smartphones with a classic feel, it’s aluminium alloy and polycarbonate mix body should be a pleasure to hold. However, even with a touch of polycarbonate the device isn’t water resistant. The dual antenna lines that connects by the sides also adds to the beauty of the device.
At the top middle, we can see the rear camera, LED flash and fingerprint scanner, all in a vertical position. The sides of the device clocked 8mm in thickness, while the entire smartphone weighs 170g. It was unveiled in Black and Gray colors, no words if other colors would be rolled out as well.
Cubot isn’t new with this bezel-less trend, the Cubot Power with a massive 6000mAh battery is bezel-less, while the Cubot P20 comes with a notch. Nonetheless, the Cubot Nova has no side bezels and narrow forehead and chin as well.
The 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is not just border-less but displays impressive visuals. Boasting of 1440 x 720 pixels in dimension and 293 pixel per inch density, the screen also stretches up to 78% screen to body ratio.
